This article addresses the sequence of events to follow once you have decide to implement TennisCollect and are aware of the costs and responsibilities.
Very simply this is a three phase process:
- Evaluate and order TennisCollect (download the implementation guide here)
- Select a Gateway provider and submit the merchant application
- Upon approval, complete gateway training and go live
Technically we can do our part within a day, but there are steps that require elapsed time to obtain all of the Gateway approvals and establishment of internal controls to properly account for financial transactions acquired via TennisCollect.
The normal process requires 6 business days. The process can be "fast tracked" through our working relationship with CapitalQ. Your actual time to "go live" will be based on the elapsed time on between the following steps:

Learn more about PCI DSS Compliance required by June, 2010
We are a PCI DSS compliant a Service Provider, but by June 2010
you will need to attest to your internal processes also being PCI DSS compliant by completing a self assessment questionnaire (SAQ).
You can learn more about this requirement at
https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/saq/instructions_dss.shtml.
For your convenience we have also attached a copy of the SAQ-A and SAQ-C forms (most recent versions can be downloaded from the link above). Your Gateway provider can tell you which one you will need based on your internal operations. Most TennisCollect customers will need SAQ-A because you do not presently nor will you have your network attached to a POS system that processes over the Internet – you will be accessing our system over the Internet connected to us, which is already scanned and compliant.
SAQ-A
If you also have a point of sale system that collects, stores, transmits, or processes cardholder data, you will need to complete SAQ-C. These transactions are outside the scope of TennisCollect but will be required to maintain your status wih your Gateway provider.
