Understanding your email accounts

TennisConnect does not provide or support email accounts directly (but we can help you).  The reason is that email hosting (done right) is different from web site hosting, and we don't want all the anti-virus overhead associated with dedicated mail servers affecting performance on our dedicated application web servers.

So we allow you to host and manage your email anywhere you want.

To make this easier for you, and so that we can provide knowledgeable support on email topics, we have a relationship with www.tennisconnectdomains.org; who provide domain name registration and email account hosting.  Our customer service staff can help you when you use TennisConnectDomains, and you can reach their help desk (staffed 24/7) at 480.624.2500.

So you will need to log in to your account at your email hosting provider (hopefully www.tennisconnectdomains.org) and follow the instructions for email plans and packages, adding and deleting mailboxes, etc.

If you do not have your own account
(meaning we set up the email boxes in "our" account at TennisConnectDomains at your request), then you will need us to set up new accounts and / or to change your email plan.

If you want to control your email accounts instead of relying on us, you can do that now.  Please call us at 888.620.6696 XT 2, then XT 611 to be connected directly to a support associate. (effective 1/4/2010)

In either case you can manage your individual email boxes, Outlook, Outlook Express, and mobile devices such as Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, etc simply by logging in to web mail account (http://email.[yourdomain.xxx]) where your username is the first part of your email address (the part before the @) and your password is whatever you set up for your password.

Services:
If we set up your email addresses in "our" account, you have POP email accounts.  You can send and receive email using WebMail, PC based email clients like Outlook or Outlook Express, and mobile devices such as iPhone, BlackBerry, Android (and others).  You can also import and export your contacts, and in many cases synchronize your files through a mobile device.

If you want to synchronize your outbound emails (so if you send an email from your mobile device... it appears in the sent folders of your Outlook (PC based) system).. then you need a heftier hosting plan.  Please see available email plans by clicking here.
