There are several ways to implement TennisConnect. Our primary objective is to help you use the interactive features that can build your business. The Group email, eCalendar, online tennis court reservations, find-a-game functions, and demo racquet center remain the most popular and most cost effective business builders (these are referred to as our interactive capabilities).
Your implementation of TennisConnect can use
Components that you deliver inside your existing web site, take advantage of main domain hosting, or use a sub domain to deliver tennis specific functionality (
click here to understand domain hosting options)
We recognize however that you want a professional web site presence to deliver the interactive capabilities, so we have opened up our style settings and are providing several illustrations of what can be implemented from a design perspective.
TennisConnect Classic web site builder versus TennisConnect Custom themes.

You may use these theme illustrations out of the box for free. You will
need some technical knowledge or be willing to hire an Authorized
Service Provider to tailor these illustrations to your specific
business.
Using Custom Themes
The theme controls everything "outside" the web page. By "outside" we mean elements common across all pages: navigation menus, browser wallpaper (background), the site header, footer etc.
Before you get started
This is not standard user-friendly "TennisConnect" functionality. There is only so much we can simplify the Internet and make truly "user friendly" for non-technical users with no specialized software. The balance of this article is for qualified technical personnel and Authorized Service Providers who will immediately understand the flexibility and importance or the Open Theme Architecture.
Accessing Custom Themes
Go to Basic Settings | Web Site Settings | Option # 17 - Custom Themes. You will see the controls that govern our Open Design Architecture.
On the very first tab you can elect to apply a Theme to your web site. This will NOT overwrite your pages, but it WILL overwrite your existing customer header and browser background,
so DO NOT run this in a live production environment. Please schedule a time to use one of our test drive accounts. This service is free.
Click here to reserve a one-on-one consulting session and obtain a test drive user name and password. Sessions are available at 11 AM, 3PM, and 7PM M-Th EST. Or call 843-686-3036 XT 227 and ask for Marty Mohar to arrange another time.
Basic Settings | Web Site Settings | Option # 17 - Custom Themes - Custom Themes
This page allows you to select one of seven predetermined themes.
Custom CSS
This tab allows you to modify the CSS. Note to developers, you should copy our CSS and make changes to our existing classes where required.
Custom JavaScript
This tab allows you to modify the JavaScript. Note to developers, you should replace our theme JavaScript and paste your JavaScript where required.
Custom Header
This tab allows you to modify the custom header. Pay particular attention to the line containing:

and related lines containing references to logo's and slogans.
You should upload the background, logo, and slogan images using the TCFinder application (Image Gallery at Basic Settings | Web site Builder | Option # 5 - Image Gallery) and get the URL by right-mouse-clicking the image properties. It will be something like .../pages/xyzprovider/images/yourbackground.png
This is also where you will change / add / delete the navigation settings for the system standard navigation bar (unless you are providing your own).
Custom Members Header
TennisConnect provides a suite of "member pages" for logged in members to view their profile, set their privacy settings, and generally manage their relationship. You may control the header of the "Member Pages" on the Custom Members header tab:
Note to developers, you should copy our CSS and make changes to our existing classes where required.
Insert Page Content Layout
To apply one of the six canned layouts to a page (siteid), use the "Insert Page Layout Content" function.
Performing this operation will overwrite the contents of the current page ID so you should only use this when establishing new pages for which no content has been customized using the Web Page Editor.
Choose the page to affect, and choose the page ID and the layout to apply, and click "Convert". This will paste the layout.htm into the siteid=x file.
