Becoming an authorized service provider for TennisConnect

The TennisConnect Authorized Service Provider network was created in 2005 to provide TennisConnect customers with qualified resources who can help them with their online presence needs.

Our goals are to:
  • serve as an objective referral network
  • establish and manage expectations that create a quality business relationship between the parties
  • encourage the development of third party add-on's for the TennisConnect framework
The Tennis Industry Association and TennisConnect do not charge any fees nor receive any compensation for establishing the network.

TennisConnect customers looking for assistance with their online presence should review the Project Board articles

The balance of this article is for Service Providers wishing to participate in the ASP program.
===================================

To Become an ASP
If you wish to join the Authorized Service Provider network you need to agree to these terms.  Upon approval, you will be included in notifications of requests from the Project Board.  You may bid on open projects and enter into a separate business relationship with the TennisConnect customer when they award you a project.

Requirements
Are really very simple.  In the course of your work with a TennisConnect customer you agree:
  • to provide reasonable and accurate cost estimates and delivery dates
  • to communicate potential cost overruns or delivery delays as soon as they are known
  • to leverage the existing capabilities of the TennisConnect application wherever possible.  For example, do not charge for building a custom "contact us" form without a thorough discussion of the existing "contact us" form capabilities
  • to use techniques consistent with the TCOEditor where TennisConnect provides user defined content areas.  For example if you create an embedded Flash object on a page, your TennisConnect customer must be aware that TennisConnect does not provide software for editing Flash animations and future changes to that animation will require additional work and fees.
  • not to copy any work with permission of the author
  • that you are responsible for the content you create
  • that you will notify TennisConnect promptly of any issues or concerns about customer satisfaction
  • that you will not pro-actively solicit the TennisConnect customer base.  Project notifications are automatically distributed when a customer identifies a need.  TennisConnect will advertise the availability of the ASP network and Project Board to generate demand.  Of course you may market your services to your customer base (once a TennisConnect customer engages your business they become your customer and we expect you to communicate the availability of continuing or new services).
  • that continued participation in the ASP network is at the sole discretion of the Tennis Industry Association and may be discontinued at any time.
If you would like to join the ASP network please contact Matt Allen (xt 221) or Marty Mohar (xt 227) at 843-686-3036.
