TennisConnect servers automatically detect incoming browsers making requests for your web pages. When the request comes from a SmartPhone, such as an iPhone, Android, or Dolphin browser, the request is redirected to your mobile pages (http://www.
yourdomain.com/mobile).
The main menu is system generated and will display each page you have created (user-defined pages) and each system generated page you have turned on.
To add new page, choose "Add Page" from the MobileBuilder main menu (Basic Settings | MobileBuilder | Add New Page)
Give your new page a Link Name, Page Title and Content:
- Link Name: The name appearing on the menu
- Page Title: The title appearing in the header of the browser
- Page Content: The substance of your page
You may upload images and graphics, insert hyperlinks, and you may apply italic and bold fonts, however the default font is set to work with the mobile visitor browser, so you may not change the font size or color.
You may paste HTML source code (as from Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, PhotoBucket, Picnik etc) using the insert HTML function:

You may also choose content or a template from the MobileBuilder Pick & Click editor. Please click here to learn more about the Pick & Click editor.
- Live Preview: The MobileBuilder differs from the standard TCOEditor in
that we have the real estate available to show a live preview of your
page. this section will be updated as you save each change so you can
preview your mobile page.
- Pick & Click editor: the Pick & Click editor has been populated with highly optimized graphics appropriate for mobile applications, as well as formatted pages and layouts appropriate for small hand-held screens.
You should start with a page template and use the graphics provided to ensure your pages fit well and load quickly on a mobile device.
Pick & Click Content
is available throughout the MobileBuilder.
9/4/2010 Mobile Builder is being released 9/6/2010 with limited P&C content. The technology is working and the content library will be expanded over time.
- Before viewing your mobile site, make sure your pages are visible (or hidden for out-of-season and under-construction pages (1)) and (2) click on "View Mobile Site" to see your site as it will appear on iPhone, Android, and Dolphin browsers:

Tips:
Mobile users are usually looking for contact information, maps & directions, or something quick (like a start time, end time, current schedule, etc).
- Take advantage of the "tap-to-____" features that are already integrated with the device. You do this in MobileBuilder Settings by filling in the email address to use, phone number for text message to use (make sure you do not enter a land line). These are system integrated features that you do not need to create separate pages for (although it is always a good idea to include your phone number on your home page).
- Keep your mobile site "light". The mobile web is a different technology from the full browser web, so keep your content to a minimum. Do not try to duplicate your entire site or you will have redundant content to maintain.
- Use components to minimize maintenance, especially the mini-calendar component. Your "Events" page becomes maintenance-free when you embed the mini-calendar on a user defined mobile page. All you have to do is keep your calendar up to date as you would for programs on your web site, and they will dynamically be presented on your mobile site.
- If you decide to upload your own images, make sure they are optimized as light weight PNG images that will load quickly. If you need help optimizing images, assistance is available from TennisConnect Professional Services (888-620-6696 XT 512)
