The Mass Court Blocker (MCB) is a utility program designed to save you time when blocking the courts for a recurring reservation. It will save you time and keystrokes when you need to block out the courts for a series of related reservations.
Basics: You will see that the MCB offers 4 options for daily, weekly monthly or annually. The most common choice is daily or weekly. For example if you are making a recurring block that repeats weekly, you could choose "every 7 days" or "every 1 week" - either choice will deliver the same result.
Tips:
- If you wish to book consecutive days, choose Days, choose repeat every 1 Day, then indicate the start and stop dates or number of occurrences.
-
Use "Monthly" if you have a recurring block that repeats on a relative interval, such as "the first Monday" of every month, or "the last Friday" of every month.
- Unlike the eCalendar, the the "Daily" and "Weekly" options in the Mass Court Blocker does not support multiple days of the week. If you have a program that recurs every Monday and Wednesday (for example), make one block for the Mondays and another for the Wednesdays.
Recur Every: Once you have established your basis, indicate the number of days / weeks between reservations.
Start Date: Enter the first date for the reservation block (mm/dd/yyyy)
End Date The end date has the option of using a date or a number of occurrences. Use the Radio Button to indicate your choice and then fill in the appropriate date or number of occurrences.
- End After: Choose the "End After" radio button to specify the number of occurrences (a 5 day camp would be 5)
- End on: Or choose the "End On" radio button to enter the last date of the reservation block
